This model is the result of a collaboration with Jeanne De Marguerye and the Abbaye d'En Calcat, and a contemporary adaptation of Dom Robert's work Ombelles in a panoramic setting, redesigned by hand by Francesco Battista.
Dom Robert (1907-1997), pseudonym of Guy de Chaunac-Lanzac was born in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. A Benedictine monk at En Calcat Abbey, he was one of the masters of contemporary tapestry. His artistic life was made up of contemplating nature, sketching, drawing, creating cartoons, translating numbered colours and monitoring weaving in the Aubusson workshops.
This decor is presented in panels, each 1.50 m wide and 3.30 m high. The panel is cut into three 50cm wide strips, up to 3.30m high each.
Tackle not included: remember to bring it with you when hanging your wallpaper.
