Founded in 1952 by a pair of tailors, Fusalp revolutionised alpine skiwear by creating the modern spindle and ski suit. From the outset, the Annecy-based brand has always balanced technicality and comfort in its materials with precision and elegance in its cuts - a stylistic signature that embodies the identity of a community of loyal and demanding connoisseurs, both in France and abroad. Fusalp celebrates the art of the mountain. Inspired by skiing, Fusalp liberates movement and adapts to lifestyles, whether in the city or the mountains, summer or winter.
Driven by the desire to offer women a complete wardrobe, Joseph Ettedgui launched his eponymous brand in 1983. He designed collections with a minimalist style that struck a balance between luxury, elegance and sobriety.
In 1931, Dr Paul Niehans opened Clinique La Prairie overlooking Lake Geneva. A recognised expert in skin rejuvenation, he turned his establishment into a haven of peace where celebrities from Charles de Gaulle to Marylin Monroe and Pablo Picasso flocked. In 1978, the laboratory launched its first range of cosmetics based on the work of the eminent professor. Secret formulas, caviar extract and other innovations were added to the range, making La Prairie an undisputed benchmark in top-of-the-range cosmetics.
The story of Apostrophe has been written over generations. In 1968, Gilbert Hazan and his wife created the brand and distributed this sunny, feminine wardrobe in Parisian department stores. In 1995, it was the turn of son Patrick and his wife Dominique to continue the adventure with an avant-garde vision: ‘It's not the clothes that make the woman, it's the woman who makes the clothes’. Then came the third generation, embodied by Frédéric and Laura, who perpetuated the timeless chic of these collections that women wear from morning to night, from boardroom to restaurant, from airport to ceremony. Apostrophe celebrates a unique style of ready-to-wear, combining expertise, a culture of elegance and admiration for women.
