The Tanjung scented candle is made from opal glass, mouth-blown by our master glassmakers. Countless colours spread through the glass, recalling the hues of Indonesia's mysterious landscapes.

Indonesia is dotted with vast tropical forests where animal and plant biodiversity is protected. Tanjung National Park is located in the south-west of the island of Borneo and covers 355,000 hectares. Orangutans live there in the wild and it is home to the largest reserve of this species in the world. These mysterious jungles hide unique species and extraordinary birds, such as the bird of paradise in Papua.

We pay tribute to Tanjung Park, which transports us to Mowgli's kingdom, where monkeys are kings.

Advice on use +

The quality of our scented candles calls for a specific burning ritual. Each time you light the candle, it is important to wait until the entire surface has liquefied before extinguishing it. This will prevent the formation of craters, which are unsightly and make burning more difficult.

The first time you light your candle, it will always burn longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The time required varies according to the size of the candle. Never let the last centimetre (1/2 inch) of wax burn, so that the flames do not touch the glass.
