The sauté pan, as its name suggests, is designed for sautéing food.

This cookware is a cross between a frying pan and a saucepan.

Its cylindrical shape is one-third as high as its diameter.

It allows you to sweat food, that is, to draw out its juices by heating it in a fat.

Sauté pans are ideal for slow cooking.

Before using for the first time, wash the utensil with hot soapy water, then rinse and dry it.

Always allow the utensil to cool down before cleaning it.

If you are cooking on an induction hob, never exceed two-thirds of the hob’s power setting to prevent overheating.

Not suitable for the dishwasher.
